Right to data portability

3. Data collection on this website

Hosting

Our website is hosted by ProntoSite (owner: Florian Frank, Willi-Lindlar-Str. 25, 53773 Hennef, Germany).

When the website is accessed, the host automatically processes information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, pages and files accessed, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and the page previously visited (referrer URL). This data is stored in server log files. In addition, the host processes the data submitted via the website (such as entries in forms) to the extent necessary for technical provision.

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and efficient provision of our website. Collecting the log file data is technically necessary for operating the website; this data is not merged with other data sources.

The servers are located exclusively in Germany. Server log files are deleted automatically after no more than 14 days.

We have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with the host. This ensures that the data of our website visitors is processed only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Cookies and consent management (cookie banner)

This website uses cookies and comparable technologies. Cookies are small data packages stored on your device. They do no harm and contain no viruses.

To protect against abusive automated enquiries (spam), the form uses exclusively technical checks that work without collecting additional personal data and without third-party services.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Enquiry by e-mail or telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, your enquiry including all personal data arising from it (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

The data you send us with your enquiry remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

4. Analytics tools

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics (Google Analytics 4). The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics is only used if you have given your consent via the consent banner. Processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Without your consent, no data is collected by Google Analytics. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; you will find the corresponding setting option on the website.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In doing so, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, time spent on the site, operating systems used and the origin of the user. Google Analytics uses technologies that make it possible to recognise the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server and stored there; this may also involve a transfer to the USA.

With Google Analytics 4, IP anonymisation is enabled by default: your IP address is truncated before storage and is not stored permanently.

The transfer of data to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission and Google’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.

5. Plugins and tools

resmio (reservations)

On our reservation page we embed the booking tool of resmio GmbH, Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse 34, 10178 Berlin, Germany.

The tool is loaded immediately when you open the reservation page, without prior consent. Your IP address is transmitted to resmio in the process, and resmio uses cookies or comparable storage techniques that are technically required for the booking process. Further personal data (name, e-mail address, telephone number, comments) is only transmitted once you submit a reservation.

We classify the booking tool as strictly necessary in order to provide the service you expressly requested by opening the reservation page – namely table reservation (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in a working reservation facility.

If you do not want this, please do not open the reservation page. You can reserve a table by telephone or e-mail at any time instead; the contact details of both branches are shown on the reservation page and under Contact and opening hours.

YouTube (embedded videos)

This website embeds videos from the YouTube platform. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Embedding only takes place after you have given your consent via the consent banner or the notice on the video. Only with your consent is a connection to YouTube’s servers established (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without your consent, no data is transmitted to YouTube. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; you will find the corresponding setting option on the website.

We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. When a video is played, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited; in addition, YouTube may store various cookies on your device or use comparable technologies and evaluate your usage behaviour. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your browsing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account before playing the video.

This may also involve a transfer of data to the USA. The data transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission and Google’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
