Yes, you do need to reserve. BUT if we are fully booked on your preferred day and the waiting list did not work out either, you can try your luck spontaneously. If someone does not show up, we usually wait 15 minutes and then give the seats away. There is no guarantee, of course, so better have a nice plan B 🙂

We stock more than 100 ceramic shapes, but not all of them are always available. It is best to pick your piece on site on the day of your visit. If you have your heart set on a specific piece, just write to us – we are happy to advise you.

That depends on your design. If you splatter or bubble, you are done in a few minutes. A detailed pattern can take hours. Our painting sessions last 3 hours.

A tip – if you want to paint something very elaborate that needs more than 3 hours, better reserve a pottery to go set. With it you can paint at home for up to three days. 🙂

Your ceramic stays with us. It is glazed by hand, retouched and spends two days in the kiln. Altogether this takes between 4 and 7 days.

You will find the collection date on your collection slip. From that day you have one week to pick up your ceramics, always from 4 pm. When collecting, please show your slip, your signature and the photo of your piece.

For reasons of space we can unfortunately only store your ceramics for one month. After that you no longer have a claim to them.

After that month, ceramics are put up for adoption against a donation and usually find a lovely new home. 100% of the proceeds go to charity.

Sometimes, though, your ceramic refuses any other home and waits longingly. Just write to us if you forgot it – we will have a look.

Shipping is NOT part of our service. Earthenware is fragile and we always recommend collecting your ceramics in person. If you are travelling from far away, we offer to store your ceramics for longer until you can come and pick them up.

If, despite all warnings, you would like your ceramics shipped, we will make an exception – for a fee and ONLY at your own risk. Please talk to us about it during your visit.

Payment is made on the day of painting.

You only pay for the ceramic piece. Our advice, paints, glazing and firing are included. You can view the prices here. If you budget €20–30 per person, you will have plenty of choice on site.

For groups of 4 or more, a minimum spend of €21 per person applies.

Please bring vouchers in printed form.

Food and ceramics do not get along too well. We offer hot and cold drinks.

For a celebration with us – and only by prior arrangement – you may bring sparkling wine, wine and possibly cake. Just please do not forget your own plates and glasses. 🙂

Our ceramics are earthenware. It is normal for this kind of ceramic to craze over time (fine hairline cracks appear in the glaze) if it is often washed in the dishwasher or left in water too long. You can keep using your ceramics without concern even with these cracks. If you want to avoid them, better wash by hand.

Our ceramics are not suitable for microwaves or ovens and are not frost-proof.
